Your AIPI Lite,
now with Muse.
Install the Muse firmware on your AIPI Lite straight from your browser. No code, no command line. We back up your AIPI system first, so you can switch back whenever you like.
Not sure yet? Check what you need first.
After install, your AIPI shows its own code, so you always pick the right one in the Muse app.

0 of 6 ready
You're ready.
Keep your phone and your Wi-Fi password nearby. Keep your AIPI plugged in until the install finishes.
Start setupTick each item to continue. Missing something? Each line tells you how to get it.
Outside the US or Canada? Muse isn't offered there yet, so pairing can't finish. Keep using your AIPI system for now.

Two different experiences. Same little device.

Questions
What is a Muse SDK token, and how do I get one?
It's a free code from Meta that every Muse gadget needs. Go to gadgets.muse.ai/settings/sdk-tokens, log in with your Muse account, tick “I agree to the Gadget SDK Terms”, click Generate token, then Copy. The setup page and the guide walk you through each click.
Is this made or endorsed by Meta?
No. Muse is a product of Meta. AIPI packages Meta's open-source Muse Gadgets firmware for AIPI Lite, tests it on our hardware and supports it ourselves. AIPI isn't affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Meta.
My AIPI doesn't show up in the Muse app.
Turn on Developer mode (Settings › Devices) and Bluetooth, and allow Muse to use Bluetooth. Your AIPI should be showing its code; press any button if the screen is off. Then pick the name that ends in that code.
Which Wi-Fi works?
A 2.4 GHz network with a password. Most home routers broadcast one. On an iPhone hotspot, turn on Maximize Compatibility. Networks with a sign-in page, like hotels or schools, won't work.
Does Muse talk back out loud?
By default no: hold the right button to ask, and Muse's answer appears as text on your AIPI's screen. Add a voice service during setup (step 4, optional) and Muse reads replies out loud instead.
Will I lose my AIPI characters?
No. Your characters, voices and knowledge files live in your XDC account. When you switch back, link your device again and they're all there.
Can I switch back to AIPI?
Yes, any time. Open Switch back to AIPI, plug in your device, and restore from your backup file or install a fresh AIPI system.
Can installing break my device?
Installing replaces the firmware, so we back up the whole device first and test every build on AIPI Lite. If an install stops halfway, plug in again and run it again. Still stuck? Contact us and we'll get it working.
What happens to my AIPI Pro or Ultra plan?
It stays yours — switching to Muse never cancels or changes your plan, and your characters remain safe in XDC. If you'd rather not pay for it while your device runs Muse, contact support and we'll pause it until you switch back.
Does switching affect my warranty?
No. Installing Muse from this site doesn't void your AIPI Lite hardware warranty. If anything goes wrong with the hardware, contact support the same way you always would.
