Switch back to the AIPI system
Plug your AIPI Lite into this computer with a USB-C data cable (it turns on by itself), choose how to restore, and click the button. When Chrome asks, pick USB JTAG/serial debug unit and click Connect.
It's called aipi-backup-XXXXXX.bin, probably in your Downloads folder.
Restoring removes Muse from your AIPI. Afterwards, also remove it in the Muse app under Settings › Devices, so it doesn't show up as offline.
Your AIPI system is back
Your device is just as it was before you installed Muse, Wi-Fi and characters included.
Last step: in the Muse app, go to Settings › Devices and remove MuseGadget-…….
Three more steps to bring your characters back:
- Wi-Fi: on your phone, join the PI-Lite-XXXX network shown on the AIPI screen. The setup page opens (or go to 192.168.4.1). Pick your Wi-Fi and type its password.
- Device code: hold the right Function button to open the selection screen, then double-press it. AIPI shows a 6-digit code.
- XDC: open Device Management at xdc.aipi.com, click Add Devices and enter the code.
Then remove the old MuseGadget entry in the Muse app under Settings › Devices.
If the AIPI screen stays dark after the restore, unplug the USB cable, wait five seconds and plug it back in — it will boot normally.
